Choice of control allocation for coaxial octocopter

Dear all,

we have acquired a multirotor X8, exactly this model:
DYS D800 -X8

In QGroundcontrol there are 2 possibilities to configure the Pixhawk v2 for X8 (coaxial octorotor):

  • the generic 10" Octo coaxial
  • the Wide Model: Steadidrone Mavrik

Given the size and shape of this DYS D800 -X8, can you please tell me which configuration you recommend? (it seems that the Steadidrone Mavrik is about the same size but has different shape of X geometry…)

Is the difference in between these 2 configurations in QGroundcontrol about gains tuning?
