I’m setting up my Christmas Pixhawk 2.4.8 for bench testing/configuration. The PX4 User Guide I’vd downloaded covers the various iterations of Pixhawk 4, 5, and 6.
How does version 2.4.8 differ from the other devices?
A Pixhawk 2.4.8 is essentially a Pixhawk1, like the original 3DR Pixhawk.
The 2.4.x series of “clones” are usually made by unnamed manufactures in China and sold through thousands of different online shop fronts. There are varying qualities.
Pixhawk2 became known as the Black Cube and later Cube Black in line with naming of the new cubes like Cube Orange.
The Holybro Pixhawk 4 and so on don’t necessarily have anything to do with Pixhawk 1’s or Pixhawk2’s (black cube) but they do all follow standards and have shared heritage.
