Tricopter tilt rotor on pixhawk 2.4.8

Planning to build a tilt rotor tricopter using pixhawk 2.4.8. 2 motors on the wing 1 on tail.
Anyone has any experience with it and can guide me on the parameters/configurations to set for ir?

Are you using PX4 or ArduCopter?

I haven’t decided on it yet. Still in the designing phase.
Which one do you recommend and also which one will be easy to set up the configuration in.
P.s I haven’t used either of them till now. It’s going to be my first project.

I haven’t used a tricopter, so I’m probably the wrong person to ask. I’m not sure what the testing state is of tricopter in PX4 but I’m just assuming ArduCopter might have seen more testing, and there are docs here: Tricopter Configuration — Copter documentation
