Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue getting RC input working on my new build using the Holybro Pixhawk Jetson Baseboard and ArduPilot firmware, and I’m hoping someone can help clarify what’s going wrong.
Hardware Setup:
Flight Controller: Holybro Pixhawk Jetson Baseboard Pixhawk 6x
Receiver**: FrSky R-XSR
Transmitter**: FrSky Taranis X-Lite (bound and working)
Firmware**: ArduPilot (latest stable for Jetson baseboard)
What Works:
- The R-XSR is bound correctly (solid green LED)
- The exact receiver + transmitter combination was working perfectly on a different drone
- On that other drone, which uses a Cube Orange flight controller, the same R-XSR with the same wiring (SBUS OUT → RC IN) worked immediately.
What’s Not Working:
- After moving the same R-XSR to the Jetson-based Pixhawk, I am getting **no RC signal in -Mission Planner (Radio Calibration tab shows no stick input)
- Wiring is confirmed: are correctly connected to the RC IN port , 5V, and GND)
- Parameter
RC_PROTOCOLS
is set to2
(SBUS only), and FC has been rebooted
Additional Clues:
This same drone used to have an RX6R receiver , and I remember it only worked when I set the X14S transmitter to F.Port mode — which struck me as odd at the time.
In this setup( R XSR Taranis xlite i have done reset to defaults and i tried to configure again the rc, but it does not work. If I transfer directly the same setup to the airbot carrier board with the cube orange, the signals are received normally.
Thank you in advance
