Px4 v2.4.8 with simulink

Hi i am a control engineering student i am doing a quadcopter for my project ultimately i need to be able to change the flight controller of my drone to SMC controller that i created using simulink. Is there a way to do it using simulink? I have downloaded PX4 support package for simulink but having difficulties building and loading my system to v2.4.8 (Note: i usually use simulink for school thats why i want to use it i have less knowledge in embedded coding but if it is easier i can learn)
