Px4 rangefinder altCtl bug

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to use altitude hold (alt hold) with my drone. I’m using a TOF sensor that converts the data to a single vector to the ground (without any filtering). I tried to fly over some obstacles, and in my last few tests, I attempted to fly over a table.

I did 2 tests:

  1. Start from the table

  2. Start from the ground and climb over the table

  • In both tests, I tried not to give high velocity commands and not to touch the throttle.

In both scenarios, the drone starts to climb up (like 1.5 meters), and the drone stops climbing when the EKF resets the location to the location of the TOF.
