If I understand the documentation well, there are 4 PWM input interfaces on the PX4 mini. Is there a way to use them to capture RC signals from a pwm output of the receiver? I’ve looked up everything on the internet, and tried some settings, but no luck.
That’s not something that PX4 ever supported. From the beginning which is more than 10 years ago, the decision was to only support (C)PPM input for receivers, or other protocols like DSM or SBUS. It just didn’t seem worth the hassle given the better alternatives existed already.
What receiver are you using? Some of them can be jumpered to output PPM (so all channels on one pin).
Thank you for your answer.
I just thought that the CAP/PWM inputs are suitable for this but looks like I was wrong.
I have only raw PWM outputs, so I would need to buy a PWM PPM encoder. But instead I’m gonna by another receiver which can handle PPM out of the box.
Yes, buying a different receiver should be the way to go. It’s possible in theory (hardware-wise) but there is no code in PX4 for it as far as I’m aware.
