PX4 IMU Question

Hello everyone. We are planing to buy a Pixhawk Cube (Pixhawk 2.1) for a drone that we are building. We would like to know if it is possible to connect a more precise IMU to the Pixhawk Cube and use it’s data for positioning and navigation of the drone? If so, do you recommend any specific IMU,? If you have any expirience with this, please let me know.

Good day, the IMU is the inertial measurement unit and its for its used
for check the angular rate, and sometimes the orientation but not the position of the vehicle.
cube have three imus… and i think you don’t need another one…, for a good precise position you can look for an rtk gps.

The Bosch BNO055 and similar, newer version called the BNO085 are good low cost IMU choices that do all the difficult fusion internally and output exactly what you want. It’s hard to find anything better for the price.
