Project Updates
-
@farhang Was successfully testing master indoor on a Holybro S500 and QAV250 concentrating on RC usage and stable manual indoor flight.
-
@MaEtUgR manual control cleanup was merged and there are some smaller follow-ups:
-
@MaEtUgR Triggering RTL when remaining flight time + a margin gets below planned RTL time
- RTL based on remaining flight time estimation by MaEtUgR · Pull Request #18646 · PX4/PX4-Autopilot · GitHub
- follow-up: Commander: force disabling the arm stick gesture when arm switch is in use by MaEtUgR · Pull Request #18705 · PX4/PX4-Autopilot · GitHub
It would be nice to have SITL tests for this feature. There’s no remaining flight time estimation if the battery capacity is unknown.
-
@JulianOes A bigger issue in QGC got fixed: Loss of MAVLink transmission when enabling joystick · Issue #9022 · mavlink/qgroundcontrol · GitHub
The fixing pr is here: Force write bytes to happen on correct thread by DonLakeFlyer · Pull Request #9976 · mavlink/qgroundcontrol · GitHub
Please test if you find any corner case. -
@JulianOes Found an issue with MAVSDK where in SITL tests it could sometimes check the mission before it was uploaded. In such cases, it would get stuck in the test. Not all CI cases failing because of timing issues were found yet. Discussion about mission feasibility communication over MAVLink.
-
@dagar A bug in NuttX was found where if you logged with a very high rate on an F7 the SD card could get corrupted after a certain random time.
NuttX stm32f7:sdmmc defer invalidate until after DMA completion by dagar · Pull Request #18687 · PX4/PX4-Autopilot · GitHub
