PID tuning for single copter

Dear Community,
I am using Pixhawk mini with px4fmu-v2-lpe firmware for my Single Copter (one rotor, 4-servos).
So can i do PID tuning same as what is being discussed for Multicopter PID tuning (
or i should go with different approach? as i am struggling a bit with PID tuning, its just toppled after take off.
