Not able to arm my PX4 quadcopter using my RC transmitter when telemetry is connected

So, I am using a Pixhawk 2.4.8 for the build and unable to arm my quad from my RC (FS-I6) transmitter when the telemetry (Holybro SiK radio telemetry) is connected on both telem1 and telem2 but when i disconnect the telemetry it works fine. Though i was able to arm drone using QGC when telemetry is connected but not with the RC and as soon as i disconnect the telemetry it works fine and then i can disarm the drone using RC transmitter.
