Motors burnt - tuning too aggressive?

Today I smoked at least 2 of my motors. I think it is because of a too aggressive tuning. I am a little suspicious though and I would be grateful for your opinions!

Attached you can find two logs from a flight of today (smoky)

And a month ago, same tuning, same params

I was flying in Position Mode, hovering above the ground for about 1 min in log 1 without too much stick movement, only adjusting the height once.

When looking at the first log, I can clearly see a lot of vibrations going on. Also the motor output is rigorously high. What is strange is, that log 2 looks completely normal, despite yaw a pretty tight tune. I don’t understand how the copter can react so differently to the same params. Any idea?

Also, for the future, I will change all 4 motors for safety. I checked the ESC immediately after the land and it was not noticeably hot. Do you think I should replace it regardless?

I have some high Ps on Pitch and Roll that I will turn down a lot. Do you see anything else that is unsafe in my tuning?

Thank you for your help!

Hi there!
Tuning should not be able to burn a motor.
Either the motor is either not properly sized, or you are using inadequate props.
You can limit this by lowering the max input for your esc, but this is just a workaround.
