Missing Mavlink Messages

Hi,

I can see certain Mavlink messages in QGroundControl, such as STATUSTEXT, but I cannot get them through the Python library pymavlink. The mavlink messages are being forwarded by QGroundControl. Is this a known issue? Is it pymavlink or QGroundControl blocking these messages?
