Job Posting for Experienced Pilots

Hi, we are looking for external pilots with some specific skill sets to work in Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada . I feel like this would be a great spot to post it and find qualified individuals. I have attached a detailed description below, so reach out to me (josh.m@skyx.com) if you are interested. Thank you.

Summary
SkyX Systems wishes to contract a drone service provider to have RPAS pilots available on an as-needed
basis. The RPAS Pilot-In-Command (PIC) and Second-In-Command (SIC) will be responsible for the safe
operation of SkyOne on a flexible basis to accommodate SkyX’s flight testing and demonstration schedule.
SkyOne is a small (under 25 kg) fixed wing VTOL RPAS.
The PIC will remotely pilot the RPAS using SkyX’s proprietary SkyXOS command and control software
and will typically operate out of the SkyX office in Woodbridge, ON. The SIC will typically operate at one
of SkyX’s test sites in the areas surrounding the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to setup the test site, provide
situational awareness to the PIC, and act as a safety pilot to manually operate the aircraft using a Radio
Control (RC) transmitter where required. SICs would be accompanied by one or more members of the
SkyX Flight Operations team.
Testing and customer demonstration flights may be required at other locations in Canada, the United
States, or other locations around the world. Where extensive travel is required beyond normal operations
around the GTA, SkyX will arrange for travel accommodations and provide a per-diem. The RPAS Pilots
are expected to demonstrate a professional demeanor while on-site and maintain high standards for
operational excellence and aviation flight safety.
It is the intention of SkyX to establish an ongoing service agreement to provide RPAS pilots who will be
trained on our system and available on an as-needed basis. SkyX will provide training for the safe
operation of SkyOne during all operating conditions. The initial scope of this service would be to have a
PIC and an SIC available for normal flight test activities with 1-2 days’ notice. This may require up to two
(2) PICs and two (2) SICs to be trained and certified on SkyX’s system.
