How to configure NTRIP and RTK via LoRa on a drone

Hello everyone, I need some help. I work at a drone company and we are developing a large drone that will fly in a densely populated area. Therefore, we need high landing precision, as the routes we will fly require very tight accuracy with no margin for error (we can land up to 50 cm away from the Takeoff/Land point). We want to use both NTRIP and RTK correction via LoRa radio (in case the NTRIP connection is lost).

My questions:

  • We want to use the Emlid RS3 or RS4 as a base station and correct the drone via NTRIP and RTK (via LoRa radio). Is it possible to use both methods simultaneously?

  • What is the best way to integrate RTK via LoRa radio? Can you recommend any equipment that is easy to install?

  • We need to use two GNSS units on the drone. Is there any that would work with both NTRIP and RTK via LoRa?

  • The connection via LoRa radio is ONLY for emergency situations.

Example: Our drone is connected to the internet through an internal board that uses cellular SIM cards. This means we have telemetry and internet connection throughout the entire flight, so the primary correction would be via NTRIP. However, we have a failsafe: if the drone loses its connection to the internet (which would result in losing the NTRIP correction), it enters RTL and when it returns to the takeoff point, it would come within range of the LoRa radio and land with precision.

Has anyone successfully used this method? I would be grateful to anyone who can help me in any way!
