The default vehicle in jMAVSim is a quadcopter. How to change it to a fixed-wing vehicle (e.g. plane)? I tried to change the SYS_AUTOSTART parameter via PX4 but it did not take effect. Is there any alternative? Thanks!
According to the official statement, jmavsim simulation only supports four rotors. If you want to try fixed-wing simulation, it is recommended to use gazebo.
Thanks for the info. I have managed to build the px4_sitl with gazebo plane model (gz_rc_cessna). I can run this from the WSL2 (Ubuntu) prompt, but the problem is when I start my model from Simulink it still runs jmavsim. How to configure Simulink to run gazebo? Thanks.
