Hello dear all , it is mandatory to fix all equipements into the uav ( fixed wing) in order to start calibration ( sensors , pixhawk autopilot etc…) ? Or can i calibrate them first outside of the uav and then fixe them inside and set up offsets in Qgroundcontrol ? Regards.
I calibrated the autopilot before fixing it to a quadcopter and it worked, but I was flying indoors with Optitrack. It should work for you too, but I am slightly worried about the magnetometer. The accelerometer and gyro should work fine.
