Commander land won't land drone in jmavsim

Hi everyone!

I’m new to PX4 and I’m trying to run jmavsim on my Mac. Everything compiles, etc., and commander takeoff works, but commander land won’t land the drone. The drone keeps climbing. Naturally, I’m hesitant to put the software on a physical drone if I can’t test it out in the sim first.

Any ideas?


OK - never mind… I found the answer in a strange place…

I would have thought that a bug from a couple of years ago would have been fixed in the source, but apparently it wasn’t fixed in the sim code. Thanks.

Ya, what happens in the sim is not a reflection of the actual firmware.
