Bypassing Radio / "Disarmed flight"

Hi guys,

I wonder if there is a way to bypass radio controller. PixHawk is able to fly autonomously; however, as long as you stay in touch with the remote controller. I couldn’t launch it at all without the existence of RC (disarmed).

So, if you want to extend the range of the flight, the system becomes heavier and very expensive.

Is there a work around to fly without RC? (Other than putting the trasnmitter on board :joy: )

The system doesn’t require a radio if you only use a digital link and keep it in auto flight modes. It only requires a radio for the manual flight modes.
