I think, that I am not the only one, for whom the multi-channel flight mode selection is a mystery.
From what I have learned, it is fundamental to understand, that there is a hirachy behind the flight modes. E.g. Auto Mission is a child of Auto. Thus, Auto mission can be selected e.g. with CH6, if and only if CH5 is on Auto.
Is that correct?
If that’s the case, why isn’t this hirachy visualized in the QGC? Auto-Mission should be visually tied (maybe shifted right a bit, or with a frame around) to Auto.
