I’m setting up a new Pixhawk 4 Mini and have run into a snag. I’m trying to program a switch position to engage the “Mission” flight mode. All the other flight modes program up just fine except “Mission”. It jumps from “Position” to “Hold” and skips the Mission setting all together. What am I missing here?
By “mission”, do you mean the autonomous flight mode?
Yes. That’s what QGC calls it.
I think I figured it out. If there is no mission in the que or if the mission is out of range, the FC automatically switches to Hold mode. I set up a mission around the area I live and it picked it up just fine. Looks like a built in safety feature. It might take a day or two to learn about this system.
