Using PX4 to fly instead of DJI GO

Hi I’m new to all of this and I am wondering if this is the kind of thing that can be used to fly a corporate drone like the phantom 2, 3 or 4 instead of using their proprietary app DJI GO. Is that one of the uses of this or is it only for drones that are specifically designed to be controlled this way? Thank you for your time!

No sorry that is not at all possible. This is for vehicles use a PX4 flight controller.

You can use QGC with DJI drones, via an app called RosettaDrone. There’s info on the web about it.

RosettaDrone is no different that using a 3rd party app - it uses the DJI SDK.
Note also that the original devs ended it though there is a fork - which you will have to build yourself.
There is no way QCG can match DJI go4 because the SDK does not allow all the settings.
Also QCG is ill equipped as it knows nothing about a given DJI drone.

You would be better off using litchi or dronelink.
