I recently started flying a Yuneec Mantis G with QGC and am having issues with the Survey tool. The flight control is perfect however the mission will not auto trigger the camera despite the fact that I can manually trigger the camera. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Do I need to do something different when planning the mission?
It should just work. You may need to contact the Yuneec folks about it.
I was able to find a work around by using the survey tool effectively as a calculator to determine the picture trigger intervals and than use the waypoint camera settings to start the camera taking photos with the desired trigger intervals.
