Setting Speed in QGC

I have been trying to come up with a mission plan for the standard vtol in QGC but am unable to change the speed of the vtol in FW mode as it flies through waypoints. I am wanting to go slower through turns than I do when flying straight. I have tried using the change speed command to no avail, any tips? This is currently only in SITL but will be tested on real hardware soon.

QGC: v4.3.0
PX4: v1.14.0

The vtol also does not yaw in MC mode but I am less concerned with that, but if you know how to fix it please to not hesitate to comment.

In QGC you should be able to control each waypoint behavior, one of the settings available is flight speed
