Question about PX4 Parameters


I am trying to get signal input through AUX port on PX4 PixHAWK. I have been reading through some documents and find out that the parameter PWM_AUX_REV1 can be set to -1 to inverse the direction of Auxiliary output channel 1. Does this mean now it acts as an input port? Or do I need to change around other parameters to do so?
