About Us:
We are at the forefront of drone technology, developing innovative solutions for VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) delivery systems. Our mission is to revolutionize the delivery industry, and we’re looking for exceptional talent to join our team.

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Robotics Engineer to lead the integration of PX4 autopilot code with ROS (Robot Operating System) for our VTOL delivery drone. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both PX4 and ROS and a proven track record of successfully integrating complex systems. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that will shape the future of delivery services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration of PX4 flight control code with ROS for our VTOL delivery drone.
  • Develop and implement algorithms for autonomous navigation, control, and sensor fusion.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software with drone hardware.
  • Perform rigorous testing and validation of the integrated system in both simulated and real-world environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to flight control, navigation, and communication between PX4 and ROS.
  • Document the development process, creating clear and comprehensive technical documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with PX4 autopilot and ROS, including system integration and customization.
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Python, and experience with Linux-based development.
  • Experience with VTOL drones or other autonomous aerial systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems and a history of successfully tackling difficult challenges.
  • Consistent track record of delivering high-quality work and meeting project deadlines.

What We Value:

  • Strong Opinions: We value engineers who have strong opinions and are not afraid to voice them. What’s an opinion you hold strongly? How would you respond if someone told you that your opinion is wrong?
  • Consistency: We believe in the importance of consistency in work and decision-making. We’re looking for someone who delivers reliably, time after time.
  • Problem Solvers: Tell us about a hard problem you’ve solved. What approach did you take, and what were the results?
  • Pride in Your Work: What are you most proud of in your career? We want to hear about your achievements and how you’ve made a difference in your previous roles.
  • Adaptability: Imagine a scenario where we have a feature that customers love, but leadership decides to stop production of that feature to cut costs. How would you respond to this situation?

Interview Process:

  • Phone Interview: We’ll start with a phone interview to get to know you better and understand your experience and motivations.
  • Technical Interview: You’ll then participate in a technical interview to assess your problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

Why Join Us:

  • Be part of a dynamic team working on revolutionary drone technology.
  • Work in a collaborative environment where your opinions and expertise are valued.
  • Competitive salary and benefit
