What is the Difference between FMU and FCU? My PX4 is the FCU, right? And the Software on it is the FMU? Could you describe in own words what both of these are?

Not sure where you are reading the FCU term, but FMU stands for Flight Management Unit, and is referring to the flight controller standard, you can read more about it on the PX4 development docs.

@rroche FCU is used quite a lot, maybe not in PX4 but for example it is used in mavros
It stands for Flight Control Unit so it’s basically the same thing.
