Translation work for QGC

  • QGC translation locale deals with 90% of UI
  • 10% remaining split between internal QGC and firmware related
  • we need to deal with the remaining 10% step by step.
  • Localized metadata on .px4 package strategy discussion
  • You can try the new locale changes on daily builds, they honor system locale for English/Chinese/German only https://docs.qgroundcontrol.com/en/releases/daily_builds.html

Can I please get sign-off from attendees on meeting minutes, just post a comment with OK or LIKE this post, post a comment for requesting edits.

Feedback from strings-translated QGC in china: Most people is satisfied about chinese translation, seems there is no typo so far, new version is also very friendly for new users from china. But old users is used to English version, especially in production environment, they asked a language swich option.
