I have a customized version of PX4 with a new airframe class. If I upload the firmware on the PixHawk through QGC, then I will have the custom options of my firmware, otherwise, I won’t.
Is there a way to have these options without the need to upload the firmware on a flight controller?

hey @salmarc that’s a great question let me explain:
For upstream QGC/PX4 the PX4 Build Bot takes care of having both in sync here’s an example:
committed 09:16PM - 18 Jan 22 UTC
For your own custom versions of both you need to make those modifications yourself on the codebase and make sure they stay in sync
