Copter Tracker, flying along a radio beam (vehicle tracks antenna -- reverse antenna tracker)

Hi,

is it possible to let a quadcopter track a radio beam?
I mean if you have a directional radio and want to let the copter fly along the radio beam, would that be possible?

Maybe the control output of the “Antenna Tracker firmware” could somehow be used as control input for the flight control system of the quadcopter?

Has anybody tried that before?

This could also act as a “homing” function…

Hi,

That’s an interesting question. What would the application be, and what kind of sensors would be allowed to use? E.g. can you use GPS?
