We are an industrial BLDC motor manufacturer. We have bench‑tested motors for PX4 platforms: VTOL inspection drone, crop sprayer UAV, waterproof surface thruster and ground rover hub‑motor.
From log analysis, many oscillation issues come from hardware side: thermal drift under continuous load, rotor unbalance, poor thrust linearity at high throttle.
Key practical tips for integrators:
- For long‑duration flight, focus on thrust retention after continuous running, not only peak thrust.
- Waterproof thrusters need double‑check bidirectional ESC settings matching PX4 actuator output.
- Always check vibration and motor curves in Flight Review before blindly tuning PID.
