A new flight controller addon is available for the Snapdragon Flight platform. This release adds PWM support via software based signaling using GPIO lines. The PWM signals generated are accurate to within 5 usecs and will enable the use of off-the-shelf ESCs that use PWM signaling to control motor speed.
An issue has been created requesting the development of a DriverFramework driver to enable the use of this feature within the PX4 flight stack:

Note that the software update contained in the Addon is released in beta form and has not been fully tested. It is intended only to support early access to this feature for PX4 DriverFramework driver development.
Nice! That’s certainly we want to pick up. Did you get a chance to look into the inverted serial port support that we’ve been discussing? With that enabled we would be able to run the normal FrSky Taranis that everybody is using.

Not yet. I will investigate this week, and post a reply. I assume you are referring to S.Bus, not PPM-sum (what FrSky uses on most of it’s receivers).
