I’m a retired Electronics Engineer from Southwestern Bell Telephone where I worked 31 years in Special Services. 8 of us were hired in 1973 to tackle New Technology issues in the communications industry. We worked with things like Internet, Wireless Communications, Digital Data and Computer Automation.
I learned UNIX and C programming from AT&T Labs training and implementation of UNIX systems throughout our Company. Today’s Linux versions look much like the early AT&T UNIX.
I currently own and operate a small Electronics Repair business dealing with Consumer items ranging from ups power systems to band gear like PA mixers and amplifiers.
I’ve been building and flying powered aircraft since I was in high school and even had old school RC setups on planes and gliders. I didn’t start flying Quadcopters till couple years ago with DJI NAZA and mRo Pixhawk. I currently have a small fleet of SkyViper GPS drones that I’m trying to swarm using QGC. Other drones include Flamewheel F450 and some Holy Stone drones.
I’ve been reading thru discuss PX4 and ArduPilot for past couple year and have a few post when stumped for solutions.
Hope to continue learning with both these groups of awesome folks.
