Which make target for pixhawk mini?

is it correct to use the make target “px4fmu-v5_default” for the new pixhawk mini board?

Perhaps this should be mentioned in the README.md file.

No, Pixhawk mini is compatible to Pixhawk, so you can use px4fmu-v2_default (or px4fmu-v3_default if possible which gives you more flash space).
