Transition Mode Settings

Greetings, everyone. I am very new to the world of DIY UAVs and just have begun to tinker with Pixhawk 4 and adding VTOL pods to a CTOL airplane (Skyhunter FPV). My question is, is everyone using the default settings for the Transition mode? I have read the online documentation on each settings but I was wondering if there is an example or more in-depth guide so I can understand what each numbers represent.
