I have migrated from a Pixhawk 2.4.8 to a version 4. I am just trying to get my head around the wiring of the new Pixhawk.
I have wired it up as per the instructions and all seems ok.
Just a query on the battery voltage in Mission Planner. Do I still need to plug in and use the Pixhawk 2.4.8 battery voltage plug that gets installed with the older Pixhawk?
Hello and welcome to the community.
By power plug you mean the power module?
No, if you use the power distribution board that is shipped with most Pixhawk 4 kits, that provides voltage and current monitoring (and comes with the correct connector).
Thank you @mwbb & @auturgy. Answered my question perfectly.
I thought the Pixhawk 4 Power Management Board might provide that functionality. I wasn’t quite sure.
Broadys; Hey I was wondering where you got Version 4 from…? My Pixhawk 4 came from China and the version is 1.9.x…? hard to read Chinese…! Thanks in Advance, James…
Hi @Jimlp1. I got it from a place in Sydney called Core Electronics.
There service and shipping is A1.
