Servos jitter/oscillate violently in Stabilized mode but work smoothly in Manual mode (VTOL)

We are experiencing an issue with our VTOL airframe control surfaces. When bench testing the aircraft:

  • In Manual mode, the servos respond smoothly and precisely to RC stick inputs without any noticeable jitter or noise.

  • As soon as we switch to Stabilized , the servos start jittering/oscillating violently, even while the vehicle is stationary on the bench

  • As soon as we switch to Stabilized mode (or any attitude-stabilized mode), the servos start jittering/oscillating violently, even while the vehicle is stationary on the bench

Hi there!
Can you try to recalibrate all your sensors?
This sounds like a gyro issue to me.

What protocol do you use to control the servos?
If you are using PWM, make sure the frequency matches what the manufacturer specifies.
