# Send (debug) messages to QGC

Hey guys,

I am using a companion with mavros for offboard. For debug purposes it would be really great to see messages (e.g. strings) in QGC. Does anybody know or has an idea how to do it?

I did it now this [way](https://discuss.px4.io/t/send-mavros-statustext-to-qgc/18586).

If anybody has a different solution, let me know.
