Updates: The beta tag is cut Release v1.18.0-beta1 · PX4/PX4-Autopilot · GitHub

- Testing team have started doing the tests from this week with the requirements with two copters and one FixedWing.
- There is a new bench test added to v1.18 PX4-Autopilot/Tools/bench_test at main · PX4/PX4-Autopilot · GitHub (v1.17 is going on as a test as well)
- Release timeline: The stable release is kind of expected to be out in 2 months or three. Meanwhile if we are not confident with beta1 there will be a beta2 plus tests and stable release accordingly.
Issues:
Decisions: From the last week onwards, any PRs that are merged to main will be a part of PX4 v2.0
- Fixes that should land in 1.18 need to be backported to the release branch, tag them accordingly
