I would like to add HIL as a topic to the agenda. At MathWorks we are making significant investments to enable MATLAB/Simulink users to deploy auto-generated code to PX4. One workflow we have consistently been asked for is to enable PX4 users to conduct HIL sim where the plant model is a Simulink Model. The current status and recommended approach today to conduct HIL using any non-ROS simulator (Flightgear, X-Plane). The docs are sparse and seem to be outdated.
Considering the HIL widget is gone from the latest QGC build. Is HIL on a deprecation path?
