Noob planning pixhawk rover - TCP/IP?

Hey guys,

I’m sebastian and I’m kinda obsessed with the idea of converting my old Tonka to an Pixhawk rover. However I wanto to be able to control it over a raspi. The idea is that the pixhawk is used to control the hardware, the ESC, the gyro etc and it keeps the rover on track etc - but instead of using a rf remote controller I want to be able to input commands into the pixhawk externally. Is that possible? Or should I simulate an rf remote with the rapi gpio instead to override the internal autopilot, if I want to?
