Multicopter Landing Gear Behavior

I’m in the process of building a Multicopter with retractable landing gear and the moment I take off the Autopilot will retract the gear. I would like to forgo this behavior during testing.

Is the only means to disable that feature to disconnect the PWM that is controlling the landing gear or is there some way to do this in the QGC vehicle setup?

I don’t see another way. I think that’s just sorta hard-coded somewhere, sadly.
