How to debug Telemetry connectivity issues

Hi all,
I have Px4 based drone with Holybro SiK telemetry transceivers. I can establish connection between the QGC on my laptop or my phone and the drone 99-100% of tries immediately at home. However, when I’m out for flying, sometimes I can not establish the connection event after multiple drone restarts. Is there a way to debug why this is happening? Is is possible to see if the link is not established in the SiK transceiver or due to some QGC issues? The only thing that I can imagine that changes between home and out is that it’s much colder right now when flying outside.
