[Freelance Wanted] PX4 Module Development – API Integration & Mission Storage

Hey everyone! :rocket:

We’re looking for a freelance developer to help us create a custom PX4 module that can fetch and store missions from a remote API. The module should be natively integrated into PX4, following its architecture and best practices.

:wrench: Tech Stack & Hardware:

  • Hardware: FMU V6X RT (IMXRT1176) + TELIT LE910C1 (evaluation board)
  • Network: Move&Connect
  • API: Django WebSocket, MessagePack format

:dart: Mission Objectives:

:white_check_mark: Manage 4G modem TELIT LE910C1 (init & communication via UART + AT Commands or other)
:white_check_mark: Connect to Django API via WebSocket to fetch missions
:white_check_mark: Store missions on the Pixhawk’s SD card (overwrite old missions)
:white_check_mark: Ensure seamless PX4 integration (potential link with navigator, avoiding MAVLink if possible)
:white_check_mark: Implement error handling & event management (automatic restart, mission integrity checks, timeouts, etc.)
