# Error running QGC

QGC successfully builds but when I try to run the application I get the following error. I tried to clean and rebuild the solution but the same error occurs on windows build. The qtquick2plugind.dll is present the given path. Can someone help me solve this error?

qrc:/qml/MainRootWindow.qml:10:1: plugin cannot be loaded for module “QtQuick”: Cannot load library C:\Users\Harshaa\build-qgroundcontrol-Desktop\_Qt\_5\_15\_2\_MSVC2019\_64bit-Debug\staging\QtQuick.2\qtquick2plugind.dll: Unknown error 0x000000c1.

No point in asking this question on a post which is well over a year old.  
The way QGC is build from source has changed throughout this year. You need to follow current build instructions.

But the thing is I have to work with v4.2 only so i have to use MSVC-64 2019, qmake

The application runs but window doesnt appear because it coudnt find the qtquick dll
