Board Recognization

I am facing a problem that i can not find in code of qground control where to make changes so that i can add the board i want QGC to recognize…!!!

@jimdgit i want to add arduino board to be recognized by QGC

I am creating my own flight stack and I would like it to be able to communicate with QGC. I understand that it will need to use MAVLink and implement the heartbeat protocol. What else do I need to do in order to get parameters exchanged?

Not sure if Arduino can handle a fight stack you might also want to look at a raspberry PI.
