PID tuning for single copter

Dear Community,
I am using Pixhawk mini with px4fmu-v2-lpe firmware for my Single Copter (one rotor, 4-servos).
So can i do PID tuning same as what is being discussed for Multicopter PID tuning (https://docs.px4.io/en/advanced_config/pid_tuning_guide_multicopter.html)?
or i should go with different approach? as i am struggling a bit with PID tuning, its just toppled after take off.
