Hello,
Does anyone know about collision avoidance project/modules that might already exist, or are on-going to the PX4?
I particularly interested of a 360 lidar solution.
Also, how hard do you think its to integrate such solution into the code?
@BazookaJoe1900 You might want to follow this thread:
Hi All,
I have actually designed a computer vision platform (but for use at ETH) before I designed the original Pixhawk and it finally seems its time to bring that expertise to the open source space. Here is how the platform from 2010 looked like. Note the original “pxIMU” which predates the Pixhawk design.
I’m looking for community feedback both in terms of requirements as well as in terms of mechanical frames that you think would be a good starting point. My goal is to design something that …
Good luck.
You could try to re-use the existing RP-Lidar code from the ArduPilot software.
What about scanning Lidar? that becomes much more affordable and probably can be used with current HW

You can try this thing with offboard mode using an onboard computer.
Hi @BazookaJoe1900 ,
Did you manage to get it working?
